When Promotional Gimmicks Go Bad: Jamie Kennedy’s Kickin It Old Skool

Look what I just made with the “Kickin it Old Skool Poster Creator”

2007’s Worst is Kickin’ It Old Skool

Now, I wanted it to read “2007’s Worst Film is Kickin’ It Old Skool” but the poster creator limits the name field to twelve characters, so “2007’s Worst” is the best I could come up with. I guess I would have also liked to include a Razzies mention, but that was obviously out as well.

The Razzie Awards Logo

Please note that this little diversion might well prove prophetic: could this be the year that the oft-nominated Kennedy finally takes home a coveted Golden Raspberry certifying that he in fact represents the absolute worst in entertainment? Will Kennedy finally get to call himself the year’s worst actor or the star of the year’s worst film?

Rob Schneider’s Big Stan

As always, Rob Schneider will just have to see about that.

Kickin’ It Old Skool, also featuring Maria Menounos, owner of the most horrendous laugh since Fran Drescher, and noted Korean-American comedian Bobby Lee who is of Korean descent and has great insight into the experience of being Korean-American. I hope this movie’s success will encourage more do-it-yourself movie poster promotions. Fun!
